Allana was first a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering multiple knee injuries over many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played her first women's match in the 2015 season of rugby league and starred for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a popular show that is rated highly. Outside of sport Allana is a certified teacher. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three different sports that include rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' top player in rugby is forced to end her professional career because of breaking her ACL four times. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament at the same knee while she was a teenager and a 20-year-old and after a fourth tear it meant Ferguson's time was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to quit in the early hours. The injury was sustained in the month of November while training Ferguson, who has been one of the faces of women's rugby league for many seasons, confirmed the news this week to The Courier Mail.
